Industry Clusters

For almost 20 years, the Garland Economic Development Partnership has been directly responsible for the growth and retention of more than $1.5 billion in tax base and more than 16,000 jobs. Now, more than ever, it is important to focus on keeping the businesses we have and helping them grow. One study says, between 40 and 80 percent of new jobs are created by existing businesses, which is why the GEDP works with existing businesses in all our varied industries to find new and innovative ways for them to thrive in Garland.
